Uses: Ginger Root essential oil is ideal to be used in small concentrations for culinary purposes. Ginger Root has been used in cooking and traditional medicine since ancient times in Sri Lanka. Ginger facilitates the elimination of toxins, boosts digestion, eases discomforts of the stomach and the bowel. Ginger essential oil has properties which could be helpful in easing feelings of nausea, arthritis, morning sickness, motion sickness, muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual pain, migraines and colds. The antioxidant properties of Ginger essential oil are known to have a protective effect on the skin, inhibiting the signs of skin damage and ageing, such as wrinkles and fine lines.
