Our beard oils are predominantly based on organic, Fractionated / MCT Coconut Oil which is sourced from Sri Lanka. Coconut Oil is considered to be one of the best oils for promoting hair growth. Even though facial hair growth is largely determined by genetics, Coconut oil will help hair grow healthier, thicker, and longer, giving it a natural luster and shine. Due to the removal of long-chain triglycerides, fractionated or MCT (Medium-chain triglycerides) coconut oil stays a liquid in room temperature and is less thicker than regular Coconut oil. It is also odorless and absorbed easily by the skin, without leaving a greasy feeling or staining garments. The cons on using coconut oil in a beard oil are thus being avoided, while keeping its enriching properties intact. Along with other oils, this therapeutic oil blend will help nourish, soften and tame the beard while adding a natural luster, moisturizing the hair as well as the skin underneath. It is also designed to combat conditions such as dry skin, dandruff and skin irritations.
Not all hair oils are designed to be applied on facial hair or suited to be used as a beard oil. However, we do not believe in a beard oil that is bad or unsuited for hair. Our beard oils are designed to be used on beard and hair, interchangeably. A beard oil helps nourish, soften and tame a beard, while adding a natural luster and moisturizing the hair and the skin underneath. All our beard oils are formulated combining six base oils (Fractionated / MCT Coconut, Sweet Almond, Argan, Jojoba, Apricot, Castor and Avocado) and two essential oils. Our signature range is inspired by the rich aroma and goodness of essential oils which are sourced from herbs, spices and flowers of Sri Lanka (Ceylon, Taprobane, Serendib).
