About: 100% natural and food-grade Green Tea extract, extracted from dried leaf granules of organic Ceylon (former Sri Lanka) Green Tea (Camellia sinensis). The extract powder is obtained after spray drying the liquid Green Tea extract. The concentration of this extract is 6:1, extract powder to raw Green Tea. Green Tea extract powder carries with it the benefit of a longer shelf life (1-2 years) than its liquid counterpart. It can also be diluted on a personally preferred ratio (with water or a similar medium). Ceylon Green Tea extract is linked to health benefits such as improved heart health and blood sugar control, as well as weight loss. EGCG is the most potent of the Green Tea molecules, which is generally considered to be the most important for fat burning effects. This is a natural characteristic of extract powders and is not indicative of any loss of potency or quality. To prevent the extract powder from solidifying, we recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. If the extract powder has solidified, simply grind it back into a powder using a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder. This will not affect the potency or quality of the extract powder in any way.
