About: Our organic Coconut Palm sugar is a natural sugar made from the liquid sap (nectar) of the coconut flower of the Coconut trees, sourced from organic Coconut farms of Sri Lanka. As it is organic and unrefined, it retains many of the nutrients and goodness of raw coconuts. The liquid sap obtained from the flowers of the coconut tree is collected into containers and placed under heat until most of the water has evaporated to obtain coconut sugar. Coconut sugar is an all natural sweetener with a low glycemic index. This means that it doesn't raise blood sugar as quickly as refined sugars do. This makes organic coconut sugar a nutritious replacement to refined white sugar and brown sugar. Coconut sugar can be used in place of regular sugar on a 1 to 1 ratio (use 1 cup of coconut sugar for 1 cup of granulated sugar).

Suggested Use: Use organic coconut sugar as a sweetener in tea, coffee, bakes, smoothies, shakes, and desserts. Coconut sugar can also be used as an exfoliant in the production of body scrubs in cosmetics.
