This Rose water body mist contains 100% natural Rose hydrosol. Rose hydrosol or hydrolate is the therapeutic and aromatic water that remains after steam-distillation of Roses. The process of distillation of Roses produces two products, each with specific therapeutic benefits; the Rose essential oil, and the Rose hydrosol or Rose Distilled Water. Essential oils contain the active constituents that dissolve in oil. Hydrosols contain active constituents from the plant that dissolve in water (hydrophilic compounds) and a small amount of essential oil (>1%).

Our hydrosols are steam distlilled using a traditional, slower distillation process. This method creates a product that is about five times more concentrated than regular hydrosols. You can further dilute them at a 5:1 ratio with water.
Because of their high concentration and low pH, preservatives are unnecessary unless further diluted. If diluted, adding a preservative can extend the shelf life to 1–2 years.
