Organic Ceylon Green Tea Extract Powder (6:1)
About: 100% natural and food-grade Green Tea extract, extracted from dried leaf granules of organic Ceylon (former Sri Lanka) Green Tea (Camellia sinensis). The extract powder is obtained after spray drying the liquid Green Tea extract. The concentration of this extract is 6:1, extract powder to raw Green Tea. Green Tea extract powder carries with it the benefit of a longer shelf life (1-2 years) than its liquid counterpart. It can also be diluted on a personally preferred ratio (with water or a similar medium). Ceylon Green Tea extract is linked to health benefits such as improved heart health and blood sugar control, as well as weight loss. EGCG is the most potent of the Green Tea molecules, which is generally considered to be the most important for fat burning effects. It can also help keep the skin and liver healthy, improve brain health and promote exercise recovery.
Green Tea extract is known for its antioxidant and protective properties and is a popular ingredient used in many contemporary cosmetic products. It is a popular ingredient in many anti-ageing products due to its antioxidant and collagen protecting properties. Green Tea extract is rich in Epigallocatechin Gallate which has been found to help the skin withstand UV radiation. In scientific trials, the suncare properties of Green Tea were found to be stronger when the extract was applied topically rather than ingested (via tea).
Directions: Green tea extract can be consumed in capsule, liquid, or powder form. The recommended dose is 250–500 mg, preferably taken before meals for effective weight-loss.
Storage Instructions: Our extract powders are sold in vacuum packs to ensure maximum freshness and quality. However, there is a possibility that the extract powder may solidify if it comes in contact with air or moisture. This is a natural characteristic of extract powders and is not indicative of any loss of potency or quality. To prevent the extract powder from solidifying, we recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. If the extract powder has solidified, simply grind it back into a powder using a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder. This will not affect the potency or quality of the extract powder in any way.
