About: Silk protein is a fibrous protein formed by converting silk from the cocoon of the silkworm. This product contains natural silk protein in liquid form without any stabilisers or preservatives.
Uses: Molecular structure of silk protein is similar to collagen fibers that makes up the skin. On application, it helps to increase skin elasticity, speeds up skin cell functioning, prevents wrinkles, and smoothens the skin. Because of silk protein's ability to repair damaged hair through increased keratin production and the incredible amount of water it can retain, silk protein is also able to boost both hair strength and moisture.
Usage: Up to 1.5% in formulations (shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams etc.)
